Description
This print captures me standing beneath the glow of Providence City Hall, one of the most iconic buildings in the city. Completed in 1878, this Second Empire–style landmark has watched over Kennedy Plaza for nearly 150 years. Its steep mansard roof, arched windows, and heavy granite detailing make it one of the most striking pieces of architecture in Rhode Island.
To create this image, I set up behind the Soldiers & Sailors Monument and used a long exposure to let the city move around me. The streaks of light across the street are buses and cars cutting through downtown at night. Two frames blended into one moment: a still figure standing in the middle of a living, breathing city.
This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful to be able to keep documenting the places I love. Your support helps me tell Rhode Island’s stories through photography, film, and a whole lot of late-night adventures like this one. Thank you for being here and for helping me keep this work alive.
